The plating process ensures a long lasting molecular bond between the copper layer and steel core. With a tough carbon steel core and a strong copper coating which will not slip or tear when driven, nor crack when bent, these earth rods give a long and reliable service life. As well as copper plated earth rods, we offer Stainless Steel earth rods (made to order) for situations where harsh environments demand them and galvanized steel earth rods (sold in packs of 100) with pointed tips for other applications. All earth rods available from TransNet have a high resistance to corrosion and provide a low resistance path to ground. Our copper sheathed rods are made to UL Standard and fully compliant with AS/NZS 3000
